Hey there!
I'm Sora J. Kasuga

I'm a writer, speaker, professional circus artist, and activist. I'm proudly Japanese-American, disabled/facially different, neurodivergent, and queer and my many identities fuel my work to shift individual and collective perceptions in order to create a more inclusive, equitable and just world. In a society built on shutting certain people out, I'm reaching for an inclusive humanity that emerges stronger because of our differences, not despite them.

While this page is being built, check The FaceOut Project at FaceOutProject.com! And, if you have a facial difference and are interested in creating change for the Facial Difference community, join us every Monday for The FaceOut Project's Activism Cohort! There's absolutely no commitment...drop in whenever! If you sign up here, and subscribe to our newsletter, you'll get a nifty weekly reminder that will catch you up on everything we're doing!

In the meantime, get in touch!!

This image features Sora J. Kasuga, a Japanese American individual with a facial difference affecting the left side of their face. They are wearing a sleeveless olive green jumpsuit with button details and a belted waist. Sora is smiling brightly, exuding joy and energy, with their head slightly tilted. Their hairstyle features a shaved side and textured black curls swept upward. The background is a textured black surface, creating contrast with their outfit. The overall vibe of the image is vibrant and confident. This photo was taken by the brilliant Rick Guidotti for Positive Exposure.
